Enjoying Colorado

Today, before we start to have F.U.N. on Monday at our first sowers project we decided to go to Garden of the Gods and see some of God’s beautiful creation. Jim like’s to spell work F.U.N. We didn’t know how it was going to go since Jim has a ankle that doesn’t like walking on concrete and I have a back that doesn’t like when I walk on concrete. We were both thinking this was going to be WORK but wanted to experience it. So we splurged a little and bought us each an $80.00 bottle of water to help us out.

Ok maybe the water bottle just came along with these bikes and a great tour guide, Travis.

We worked hard riding 12 miles in less then 2 hours and stopped along the way to capture some pictures. Again, maybe I fibbed just a little because they were electric bikes. We didn’t have to work at riding up and down those hills at all, just balancing, which when you haven’t road a bike for a while could be a little challenging for me. Lol 😂 I did make the whole trip though without falling down. We had never done this before and it was a great time, made great memories and captured some beautiful pictures.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Lord, help Jim and I, bring good news, have peace and show others that our God reigns as we begin this chapter. In Jesus name Amen.

Still can’t believe I was going 30mph on a bike at one point 😳. Hopefully, in the future, maybe a couple years from now we can afford to buy that $80.00 bottle of water again. However, it might be $100.00 by then. We better get busy making some more “a little this and that” wood projects and get busy selling this fall. Keep following us on “this and that” adventures because you never know what we might be doing.

Serving Him, Jim and Cathy Fry

Published by Jesus, take my baton!

Jim and Cathy Fry enjoy taking junk products and putting their own twist on them to come up with unique pieces. They have always spelled work “f-u-n” so you could say they are having fun coming up with “A Little This and That” for you to take home. They started this business in 2018 to help fund them in transition from a boys ranch ministry to an RV ministry. They are now living in an RV full time as of June 2019. They joined Sowers ministry and will be doing projects at different locations and also spending some good quality time with their kids and grandkids.
