Wait: stay where one is Change: to give a different position, course, or direction to Patience: the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. Be Still: Psalm 46:10 http://cathy-fry.blogspot.com/2017/02/be-still.html?m=1 God is teaching me once again to just BE STILL. Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve given an update on here. It’s been an interesting fall, with lots of different craft shows to help us in our finances and Jim trying to get the farming done in all the rain.

Some of our grandkids were able to help us with some painting this summer as we were getting ready for fall shows. Aren’t they adorable?! Farming this fall has been a challenge for a lot of farmers. As today (December 11) there are farmers around us that still have crops in. We are blessed enough to be done with our fields. However, closing the ranch property took a little longer than we expected. Finally closed on November 7th, but we still have loose ends of the non profit to tie up so we have been delayed in going down south. Then December 5th our brother in law (Dave) found out he needed to have hip surgery on December 26th. Jim and Dave farm together, so that means we need to stay in the area till around the middle of February to feed the cattle. We thought we had our first year of fulltime rving all planned out but God had other plans. So please pray for us as “we wait” and “be still.” Our plans were to park at Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch in November and December, down by our oldest son and work for them as an independent project because they are not on the sower list for those months. We worked for LUC Boys Ranch back in 1990-1992 before we founded our boys ranch that we have directed since 1992. While working there we got to work along side sower couples and mappers. Way back then Jim and I thought it would be awesome to travel around like that and work for different ministries. So we are excited to get going and we are still going to be able to spend some time at LUC in March Lord willing. Back where our dream of fulltime ministry began. So in saying all that Lord Willing we will make it through another Iowa winter without freezing too bad. Merry Christmas to you all and may God bless you in the year 2020. Remember it’s Gods timing not ours. Galatians 4:4-7 message “But when the time arrived that was set by God the Father, God sent his Son, born among us of a woman, born under the conditions of the law so that he might redeem those of us who have been kidnapped by the law. Thus we have been set free to experience our rightful heritage. You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, “Papa! Father!” Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance. Galatians 4:4-7 the message Being Still, Jim and Cathy Fry
