But God….He cares for me.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When we were at a sower project in Minnesota in August this year, we were about an hour or so away from a couple we met at a project last April. We planned to meet up a few times and had some great fellowship. We discussed our plans and all though we are not doing another sower project together they “signed up” to follow us down to Missouri. We are going to help Jim’s brother who is in a wheel chair put a deck and ramp on his new home and pour a concrete floor in his shop so he can get around easier. God used the Sower ministry to bring us together to help do this project.

I don’t thing they knew what they signed up for, and neither did we. After several U turns, because of a power issue with our truck pulling our fifth wheel all of the sudden, they were able to pick us up after we dropped our truck off at a shop. Thankful for the good works God prepared in advance for them to do for us. He works so many details out for us it is amazing. We are also thankful we were able to get back to the same campground we had just been parked at by our best friends, Doug and Lori. They were more than welcome to have us over for more cards, food and fellowship. We had already spent a couple days at their home with our new sower friends and we continue to work on them trying to recruit them as sowers.

So tomorrow is our start day on the deck, ramp and concrete job. I’m sure it will make us think about the sower projects we have worked in the past and thankful for our new friends Vern and Janine for being able to good works that God prepared for them to do helping Jim’s brother.

I was all worked up about the truck breaking down while they were with us and the trouble I felt it was creating but GOD….

He had it all worked out for our truck to break down at the time it did so we had the help. So I really need to work on that cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for ME! I know He cares for me and He continues to take care of me so why do I get anxious? Have you been there, done that? Why do we do it? What do you do to remain calm in stressful situations? I’m hoping that I learned something this time.

He cares for us,

Cathy (for Jim and Cathy Fry)

Jim and Cathy Fry enjoy taking junk products and putting their own twist on them to come up with unique pieces. They have always spelled work “f-u-n” so you could say they are having fun coming up with “A Little This and That” for you to take home. They started this business in 2018 to help fund them in transition from a boys ranch ministry to an RV ministry. They are now living in an RV full time as of June 2019. They joined Sowers ministry and will be doing projects at different locations and also spending some good quality time with their kids and grandkids.
