Beginning Our Journey

We have been living full time in our fifth wheel since June 2019. After 30 years of ministry working with at risk boys we decided we were tired😳😴. The Ranch , earlier known as Miracles Can Happen Boys Ranch is in the process of closing so we, Jim and Cathy Fry, had to figure out what we were going to do for the rest of our lives. If we would get a job in Wilton, IA area where we have been planted for the last 28 years, we would start all over and get a weeks vacation. Our kids are living in Iowa, Missouri and Alabama who would we go visit for our week vacation? We have learned to adapt, adjust and improvise being in ministry so we decided that traveling and doing ministry would be an option for us to try out. We are not old enough to retire but the sowers ministry is a volunteer ministry. We started selling crafts to help supplement our income. We are excited to start this journey. Our first project is in Colorado. We have never had the privilege to visit Colorado so we are a little excited to see this beautiful state. We are also excited to put our talents to use however God would have them be used at the Glen Eyrie Conference Center.

We are on the road and looking forward to see what God has for us in continuing to be used by Him. Since June we have had the privilege to spend time with our kids. We have been able to do a little work for two of them at their homes to help them out as they are also in ministry. We look forward to spending more time with all of our kids and grandkids. Please join us in prayer as we will be on the road a lot in the years to come as we continue to serve Him. May God bless you all as you join up with as prayer warriors in our new adventures.

Serving Him, Jim and Cathy Fry

Published by Jesus, take my baton!

Jim and Cathy Fry enjoy taking junk products and putting their own twist on them to come up with unique pieces. They have always spelled work “f-u-n” so you could say they are having fun coming up with “A Little This and That” for you to take home. They started this business in 2018 to help fund them in transition from a boys ranch ministry to an RV ministry. They are now living in an RV full time as of June 2019. They joined Sowers ministry and will be doing projects at different locations and also spending some good quality time with their kids and grandkids.
