Am I good at waiting for “it”? Are you good at waiting for “it”?
“It” can be something you are going through. “It” could be something you are wanting to buy. “It” may even be an answer from God you are wanting. Or “It” could be Jesus coming back.
How are you doing in the waiting?
Are you waiting patiently?
”But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.“
Romans 8:25 NIV
God’s word tells us we should wait for it patiently. But we are all human and none of us are perfect. I’m sure we have all waited impatiently at some point in our life. Maybe even a “few” times in our life.
That’s me right now. I’m not waiting for “it” patiently. But I do have faith that God is going to get me through this little hiccup. We have had to stay put and not able to travel because of my neck issues. I am hoping for what I do not have. Free from the nerve pain in my arms. Wait. Does this mean I’m waiting patiently?
So forget the wait for it we need to Hope for it!
As I sit and wait for it I’ve read and heard about different things happening in this world. Then, I just happened to read Habakuk.
”I will stand like a guard and watch. I will wait to see what the Lord will say to me. I will wait and learn how he answers my questions. The Lord answered me, “Write down what I show you. Write it clearly on a sign so that the message will be easy to read. This message is about a special time in the future. This message is about the end, and it will come true. Just be patient and wait for it. That time will come; it will not be late.“
Habakkuk 2:1-3 ERV

So wait for it! Hope for it! If you know Jesus as Lord and Savior we will not have to wait for anything ever again someday the end is coming and will not be late.

I’m so sad to hear of the pain you are experiencing! I will be praying for healing for you.
