“Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down. Luke 21:5-6

While driving back to Iowa today Jim says Cathy look at this church. I looked up and right away I opened my camera and snapped a picture. How cool, Beautiful picture. Then I saw the curve signs ruined the picture. However, my mind started racing about how could I turn this into a devotion.
When you see a Curved Road sign, you should:
- Apply your brakes and slow down before you enter the curve.
- Stay in your lane.
- Beware of traffic moving in the opposite direction moving through the curve.
Being able to recognize road signs as you drive and respond accordingly is an important part of being a safe driver, sharing the road, and respecting right-of-way rules.
When you are a Christian you should:
- Apply his word to your every day life. “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,”. James 1:19 NIV
- Stand Firm. “Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 NIV
- Beware of being deceived. He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. Stand firm, and you will win life.” Luke 21:8, 19 NIV
Being able to recognize God’s little taps as we go through this thing called life and change our path is an important part of being His light, sharing His son with others and giving him the Glory.
Do you recognize his taps? Or do you just ignore them? Remember, He wants what’s best for you and me.
Trying to listen to his taps,
Cathy (for Jim and Cathy Fry).
I’m listening for the taps also. Praying for your time in Iowa.
